The Zinc Dickschicht process
The dickschicht passivation can be seen as a replacement for the well-known yellow passivation and is even a whole step better. The chrome-VI free dickschicht has a yellowish color and gives an iridescent shine.
In a salt spray test, times of 200 to 280 hours are achieved with a standard layer thickness of six microns.
